Experiential Tourism and Experiential Marketing validated thanks to the Experiential Quality Mark ®

The transition from the service economy to an experience economy is clear for all to see; the transformation now concerns not only the sectors historically linked to tourism but also that of services and the marketing of products (experiential marketing). This entails the need to distinguish experiential offers from a simple offer that only bears the label of experiential. This is important not only for the guests of the experiences (tourists or simple users of an experiential event) who must choose among the countless offers present in the area but also for tourist and cultural operators who intend to offer memorable events that involve individuals on a personal level . Customers asking for products and services are now replaced by "guests" looking for emotions to remember and if these emotions are validated, even better. 

The Quality Mark certifies that the experience offered is managed in compliance with experiential and organizational Quality requirements, it does so through a formal recognition issued to individual experiences, following a careful evaluation of objective evidence, in compliance with the principle of impartiality and according to a transparent formal standard. 

Note: It is believed not to use the terms "Certification" or "certificate", since it is commonly used by Certification Bodies accredited by national accreditation bodies (such as ACCREDIA) or belonging to the European network (EA - European Cooperation for Accreditation) or international (IAF – International Accreditation Forum) certification. Although there are currently no Quality of Experience certifications issued by bodies accredited by the aforementioned bodies, we believe it is appropriate, first and foremost for ethical reasons, to avoid ambiguity and possible terminological conflicts.
