1. Description

The Quality Mark certifies compliance with the Experiential Quality requirements measured through specific indicators.

Note: It is believed not to use the term "Certification", since it is commonly used by Certification Bodies accredited by national accreditation bodies (such as ACCREDIA) or belonging to the European network (EA - European Cooperation for Accreditation) or international network (IAF - International Accreditation Forum) certification. Although there are currently no Quality of Experience certifications issued by bodies accredited by the aforementioned bodies, we believe it is appropriate, first and foremost for ethical reasons, to avoid ambiguity and possible terminological conflicts.

2. Function of the Brand

The brand takes on the important function of Quality Guarantee towards users as it formally certifies that the experience offered is managed in compliance with experiential and organizational Quality requirements

3. Who can request the Experiential Quality Seal

All organizations that offer products and services in the form of "Experiences": this now concerns not only the sectors historically linked to tourism but also that of services and product marketing (experiential marketing). Individual professionals who provide experiential services can also apply for the Mark.

4. Experiential Quality Requirements

The requirements are measured through the checklist which reports the indicators required by the VQE method (Experiential Quality Evaluation) to which reference is made for details. This method is based on the evaluation of requirements specified by the technical specification VQE-01 "Experience Management System: Requirements and Guide for use".

5. Procedure for obtaining, maintaining and renewing the Experiential Quality Mark 

First release

  • Request for the Experiential Quality Mark
  • Merit rating
  • Release of the Experiential Quality Mark

Annual maintenance

Sending a declaration relating to the maintenance of the requirements assessed at the time of the first release

Three-year renewal

Evaluation of the updated Experiential Report and brand renewal

The Quality Experiential Seal (QE) is applied to the following experiences

  • Authentic Cultural Experience: (application of the following requirements: FE1, FE2, FE3, FE4, FE5, FE6, and FE7)

The Seal of Experiential Quality of Excellence (QEE) is applied to the following experiences

  • Full Experience (of Excellence): (application of the following requirements: FE1, FE3, FE4, FE5, FE7, FE8, FE9, FE10)
