Experiential Tourism: Experiential Quality Seal and Recognition of Professions. 

             

Tourism grows and evolves, the simple tourist offers give way to the growing demand for Experiential Tourism, possibly guaranteed with a Quality Mark registered and provided by qualified professionals. Not surprisingly, just to mention Italy, the Dossier of the Strategic Plan for the development of tourism for the period 2023-2027 approved in May 2023 by the Production Activities Commissions of the Chamber and Senate underlines, on several occasions, how Tourism and Experiential Marketing are a strategic element for tourism development. Here, then, is the need for new tools to recognize Quality Experiential Offers and the professionalism of the sector. 

  • Experiential Tourism certified thanks to the Experiential Quality Mark ®The Quality Mark certifies compliance with the Experiential Quality requirements and does so through a formal certificate issued following a careful evaluation of objective evidence and in compliance with the principle of impartiality and according to an international standard. 
  • Recognition formal of the Experiential Tourism Professions: Gthanks to the Professional Certification pursuant to Law 4/2013 and/or the International Experience License (IEL) ®

  • Dinner Experience (DIE): They can have various sub-typologies, for example, if connected to entertainment or entertainment activities they are called "Dinner Show" 
  • Guest Experience (GUE): Experiences related to the hospitality sector 
  • Entertainment and Show Experience (ESE): recreational offers in the various sectors of tourism and leisure 
  • Travel Experience (THREE) (typically package tours) 
  • Glamping Experience (GLE): Experiences related to camping activities where the concepts of Glamor and Camping (luxury camping) are brought together 
  • Wellness Experience (WLE): Experiences related to physical and mental well-being 
  • Experiential Marketing (EMA) (Commercial Marketing): Shops, Shop Center, Eat & Drink, etc. 
  • Hiking Experience (HIE): Hiking experiences: naturalistic tourism, cycle tourism, equestrian tourism, river tourism, underwater tourism, etc. 
  • Handmade Experience (HME): Experiences of Knowledge and Crafts 
  • Immersive Art Experience (IAE): Experiences related to exhibitions and installations of an immersive nature
  • Museum/Ecomuseum Experience (MEE): Experiences related to specific museum and/or eco-museum activities
  • Heritage Tourism Experience (CHE): Experiences related to the knowledge of local identities: local traditions, religious festivals and local folklore, village festivals, typical products, places of memory, cultural visits, etc.
  • Heritage Interpretation Experience (HIE): Cultural Heritage Interpretation Experiences 
  • Sports Experience (SPE): Experiences related to sports activities: Activities where guests participate actively by practicing sports themselves
  • Fishing Tourism and Ittitourism Experience (PIE): Experiences related to fishing tourism and ittitourism
