In the context of the Repertoire of Tourism, Arts, Entertainment and Cultural Heritage Professions, which lists hundreds of skills-based professional profiles, those specifically relevant to Travel and Tourism Agencies and Tour Operators have been identified. Furthermore, a selection of tourism professions directly related to or of interest to these agencies was made. The objective is the creation of a "Travel and Tourism Competence Framework", which harmonizes with the broader "Tourism, Arts and Cultural Heritage Competence Framework" (Tourism, Arts and Heritage Competence Framework – TAH-CF). The "Travel and Tourism Framework" is presented to interested parties to examine and propose possible improvements to the models that define individual professional profiles.
