Objectives of the Course

The main objective of the course is to strengthen the skills of ecomuseum staff, integrating them with the principles of Experiential Offers, Quality Management methodologies and techniques for enhancing and promoting cultural heritage. The emphasis is particularly placed on this last aspect, thanks to the in-depth study of the holistic approach typical of Heritage Interpretation.

The aspects of Heritage Interpretation and Experiential Offerings are of particular relevance in the museum sector, as underlined by the definition of museum adopted by ICOM in 2022. These principles are even more relevant in the ecomuseum context, given their nature intrinsically integrated into the concept itself of ecomuseum.
