 Objectives of the Course

The main objective of the course is to enhance the skills of museum staff, integrating them with the principles of Experiential Offers, Quality Management methodologies and techniques for enhancing and promoting cultural heritage. The emphasis is particularly placed on this last aspect, thanks to the in-depth study of the holistic approach typical of Heritage Interpretation. The aspects of Heritage Interpretation and Experiential Offerings are of particular relevance in the museum sector, as underlined by the definition of museum adopted by ICOM in 2022.

Access Prerequisites

The integrative course, although open to all, is mainly aimed at museum professionals. To be recognized as valid by AIPTOC for the purposes of issuing the Museum Director Certificate, pursuant to Law 4/2013, it is necessary that participants can demonstrate at least three years of work or professional experience in the museum sector.
