Register of Hospitality Professionals

What is it   

The Hospitality Professionals Register is part of the larger one TASP Professional Register “Tourism, Arts, Entertainment and Cultural Heritage" and lists professionals who have specific skills in the hospitality sector. 

Objectives of the Registry 
The Register aims at greater recognition and valorisation of professional skills. Registration in the register is a fundamental and voluntary step for professionals who wish to certify their skills through a rigorous evaluation process based on criteria of objectivity and impartiality. The TASP "Tourism, Arts, Entertainment and Cultural Heritage" Register is not binding for the purposes of carrying out the professions listed nor does it replace any instrument that regulates professional figures or regulated by current laws.

The advantages for those included in the TASP Register

  1. Membership in a Club of Excellence: Being a member of the TASP register means being part of a network recognized for its integrity and transparency in skills assessment methods. This membership not only formally confirms the professional skills of its members but also increases their visibility and reliability in the tourism, arts, entertainment and cultural heritage sectors.

  2. Objective Validation of Skills: Registration in the register guarantees formal and objective validation of professional skills. The impartial evaluation process highlights and strengthens the credibility of professionals in their field, facilitating opportunities for growth and recognition in the market.

  3. Insertion into a database: Registration in the register includes inclusion in the Database of Tourism, Arts, Entertainment and Cultural Heritage Professionals, making it easier for professionals to be found by potential clients or collaborators.

  4. Free training: The registry also offers free training courses for its members, providing learning and professional development opportunities at no additional cost.

  5. Recognition by AIPTOC: Registration is recognized by AIPTOC - Italian Association of Tourism Professionals and Cultural Operators authorized by the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy to issue certificates compliant with Law 4/2013, which allows you to be considered a "professional" pursuant to Italian legislation (DPCM 14/10/2021)

  6. Digital Card: Each registered member receives a Digital Card that certifies their membership in the register, useful both for networking issues and for professional opportunities.

  7. Visibility and valorisation: Members are included in the archives of ACTASP project (Archive of Tourism, Arts, Entertainment and Cultural Heritage Skills), which further improves their visibility.

Access Requirements for inclusion in the TASP Registry

The skills to access the register are assessed on the basis of the "Requirements for access to the professional figure" specified in the sheets associated with the individual professions of the Repertoire of Tourism, Entertainment Arts and Cultural Heritage Professions

The register is accessible to professionals with specific training qualifications or proven professional experience. A professional can request inclusion for one or more professional skills.

Profile Evaluation Criteria

Where some professional figures require qualification by law, registration in the register is subject to passing the qualification exams and registration in the registers, orders or colleges required by law.

For all non-professional figures regulated by Law 4/2013, the following aspects are taken into account in order to certify possession of the skills in a non-mutually exclusive manner, i.e. possibly in combination with each other:

  • Qualifications awarded in the academic field (Formal Learning) (*)
  • Specific Training (Non-Formal Learning)
  • Work, professional or artistic experience (Informal Learning)

Work, professional or artistic experience can be demonstrated through various tools including:

  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Professional portfolio
  • Objective placement on the market (awards, regional, national or international recognition)
  • Publications (scientific or editorial)

The following registers and lists are also recognized for inclusion purposes:

    • Registers of Professional Associations established pursuant to law 4/2013 and recognized by the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy (MIMIT ex MISE)
